Scribes – The American Society of Legal Writers – is a professional association whose main goals are to honor legal writers and improve legal writing. Its members include judges, lawyers, law professors, and legal editors. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious organizations of its kind. At the NCLR dinner, on March 18, 2010 Scribes will present its annual award to the best law review note or comment of the past year. The dinner is sponsored by Thomson-Reuters.
